Ohio appraisers are licensed by the Division of Real Estate & Professional Licensing within the Ohio Department of Commerce, which issues four credential levels from Registered Appraiser Assistant to State-Certified General. Note that Ohio replaced its old eLicense lookup in October 2025: the current public License Look-Up lives at elicense.ohio.gov (older elicense3 links you may find elsewhere are dead). Search by name or license number to confirm a license is active.
